Hazel Noake

The Latest Jumpsuit in my Collection

Check out Sarcastic, Slow-clapping Mary on the far left... she's such a bitch
the colours!!!

Perfect for glamorous posing on The Whore...

Watch and learn ladies...

My plan for the next few days...

Faff about a bit on my guitar, finish at least one of the three books I'm currently reading and do a decent chunk of my vintage crochet project...

I picked up these treasures during a brief
op shop on my way to the shack today...

Thanks Hazel

I wore:
Late 1960s Jumpsuit - KFT Vintage on Etsy
Bangle - Gift from darling Aysh
Ridiculousness - Made it myself

Ooh, your new jumpsuit is so gorg, Sarah, I love how it matches your blanket, and it looks fab on The Whore. Great finds; I'm sure Hazel would be happy to know her suitcase is in a happy home. BTW your speed dating adventure was a hoot to read about. Looking forward to more. Happy weekend! Xoxo

Jumping Jehosaphat, look at you in that wondrous jumpsuit! You're a vision.

And your moves? Sublime. I'm a-learning. In fact, I might try that legs in the air one later. xx

I love the purple and orange in your jumpsuit! I used to have a chip set like that. Does it have the stacking bowls inside it? I broke one of mine. Boo.

The jumpsuit is spectacular!!! Looks like you have a good plan for the next few days. So cool you play guitar! Trying to get my daughter lessons soon... It always looked like it would be such fun to be able to play :)

You know you're going to have to keep that name tag on the case forever right? Wonderful! Oh, gone are the days when girls named HAZEL NOAKE got their label makers out and clicked out their own name so nobody would swipe their little case.

You look gorgeously colourful and comfortable on the whore. Hope you're having a lovely weekend! It's snowing like an asshole here.

Ooooh that's a superb bit of jumpsuitery...I adore it.
Sounds like a top weekend.
Have much fun.

Thank goodness you're wearing a jumpsuit or that deer would be getting an eyeful. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm googling "Hazel Noake" in about 30 seconds

Holy crap, that jumpsuit is groovy beyond words! You look magnificent Sarah. I'm very envious of your fab jumpsuit collection...go on, torture me and do a post with all your jumpsuits, that would be fab....please, please, please ;)
Throwing some artistic shapes on the whore, totally bonkers and that's why I keep on coming back for more.
I'm trying to learn Jeff Buckley's 'Lover, You Should Have Come Over' on the guitar at the mo, bloody nightmare, I just want to chop me wee fat useless fingers off, for not doing as they are told...it may be while before I can do a recital.
Lot's of love,
Jennie

Ooh, the bright colours, the print, the jumpsuity gorgeousness, I LOVE! And you are clearly the Mistress of Posing, I could not possibly hope to emulate the fabularseness of the legs in the air look. Bet The Whore has seen it all before... And then some.
Slow-clapping Mary was always bound to disapprove of your shenanigans, especially any cavorting on an ex-brothel sofa. She's a miserable old bitch, who cares what she thinks? Crinoline Lady with the thermometer thinks you are HOT!
So strum your guitar and sing, finish a book or two, crochet the hell out of whatever it is you are crocheting at the moment, and enjoy, my love!
I am sure Hazel Noake would want you to have her case. Chips? Don't mind if I do.... xxxxxxxxx

Connie said...

Oh please don't keep that jumpsuit inside all weekend. Hazel would want you to get out and show it to the world! (Yes, Mary can be a bit judgmental.)

Vix said...

Thank jumpsuit is vile, send it to me so I can burn it. How could you assault our eyes with something so colourful? Hahahaha.
The whore looks wonderfully inviting, I don't blame you for spending the weekend surgically attached to her.
Hazel's case is ace, you must keep her name tag forever.
Love you more than jumpsuits xxxxx

Wow! What absolutley amazing colours and pattern!! So jelous!

Hazel Noake was a lunch room lady in Nebraska back in the 60's. She wore a hair net and support hose and served up corn dogs n' applesauce!

You don't need speed dating...I bet you get all of what you need right there on that couch. You are glowing on it!

Fiona said...

Wow! That jumpsuit is spectacular, love the explosion of colour. How coincidental, I also picked up a blue vintage suitcase today,(yet to be posted) no name on mine tho.

The colors in that jumpsuit are gorgeous. So vibrant and just beautiful! Love that red whory couch!!

It's as if everyone is the queen of something you my love are the queen of play suits. Gorgeously spectacular in that colour combination. Hope your weekend is a fabulous one upon the whore.

You look so incredible in neon brights!

How do you keep uncovering these great, vintage finds? You must have some great op shops around, are just lucky, or both. ;)

You have taken the Treading Water pose and catapulted it into a whole new galaxy of super model posing code. The whoring around is definitely paying off. That jumpsuit in its perfection defies description.
Do you write guitar songs for your poetry?!

Val Sparkle said...

OMG - I was going to say you need to come up with a back story for Hazel, but Joni beat me to it! And she mentioned Nebraska, which is my family's ancestral home! But I think she has the wrong Hazel Noake. Surely the one who owned your case was an airline stewardess for Pan Am until she got pregnant and married a haberdasher (not the father of her baby), and they settled down in Adelaide.

The colours! So gorgeous!
Love your finds, especially the chip container. :)

Love, love, love the print on your jumpsuit so bright and fun and the whore is amazing. I have just been reading your previous post and have been laughing my head off at you speed dating antics.

I was imagining Hazel Noake was some booky heroine but I love the little suitcase of hers that made its way to you. I love your plans for the next few days too, I need a few days like that, sometimes I feel envious when I watch films where people get committed to mental wards or prison because I think at least they're getting some peace and quiet in there, time to catch up on their reading and suchlike. So until I get committed I shall live vicariously through your blog Sarah. Now I want to hear your guitar playing, with singing. Oops, meant to say I love sarcastic slow hand clapping Mary. I wondered who she was! xx

What a busy bee you are going to be this weekend.

AMAZING jumpsuit! And the poses get better and better! Hope you've had a chilled wkend Sarah.

Forest City Fashionista said...

Nobody names their little girls Hazel anymore - why is that? You'll have to refer to that case as the "Hazel Noake" from now on, as in "Hazel Noake and I are off on a weekend jaunt". Your sumptuous couch must be feeling right at home with your "legs in the air" posing ;) That jumpsuit is a jumpsuit, to end all jumpsuits. I bought a jumpsuit this weekend, but it is terribly tame compared to yours

Wonderful!! I love your jumpsuit and adore the whore. Slow handclap Mary is a total bitch, I agree. And your cavorting has made the girl in the orange frame blush! Love the embroidery in the ornate frame. But oh that jumpsuit... It rules over all with its fabulousness xxx

You know, I've had people 'freak' because they find stuff in op shops with actual human names on them... like they don't want to think that someone has had a life with an object. I'm the total opposite: I LOVE to think of these items we all treasure and what they were doing before they met us. Long live Hazel Noake!

Probably good that we're not the same size; I'm eyeing those SPLENDIFEROUS jumpsuits, lady... Green. I'm GREEN! xo

Lakota [Faith Hope and Charity Shopping] said...

It's very you and very fab! I am thankful to Hazel on your behalf, but more intrigued by the chins/chips? The mind boggles. Do classy ladies decant their crisps into it rather than just stuffing a greasy paw again and again into an extra large bag?
