A parasol is not an umbrella, no matter what you say

I bought this gorgeous late 1960s super bargain cotton sundress from gorgeous Leisa's wardrobe shop...

I frickin L.O.V.E. it.

AND...

She sent me THIS incredible frock as a GIFT!

For no reason!

From the kindness or her beautiful heart!

Polka dots and stripes and RIC FRICKIN RAC!

Annabel gave me some posing lessons.

I highly recommend you pop over and check out Leisa's lovely bargain store. You might just find something fabularse for yourself... and while you're there please feel free to grab this fab swimsuit for me (my birthday is only a few short weeks away!). Thanks.

If this dress were a man, she'd be Steve Buscemi. Seriously, that's how much I love her. Thank you Leisa!

Leisa is the sweetest pea and you have scored two gorgeous frocks. I love them both, but seriously I can't imagine that red one being suited to anyone better.

What a kind gesture to send you a frock for free. You ROCK both of them and I'm totally mesmerized by the stunning print of the one that you bought.
Annabel is definitely a poser supreme in the making and I love her fabulous print mixing too, what a pretty little twinkling star :)
If you send me your address details (frocktasia@yahoo.co.uk) you may find a wee parcel landing on your doorstep in time for your birthday.
I'm going through my stock at the moment and I'm unearthing goodies galore :)
Lot's of love,

You're welcome.

The parasol is fab, our local Thai restaurant has 100s dangling upside down from the ceiling. It looks lovely but I find it pays not to think too hard about what might have collected inside them above your food.

I'm feeling very 60's these days. That shift dress is very groovy. And Annabel!!!! ADORBS!

Vix said...

I fricking love it, too, and the freebie was made for you what with the rik-rak and polka dots, stunning.
Supermodels must run in the family 'cos Annabel ain't the only one.
What kind of a fool gets mixed up between an umbrella and a parasol? A wet one, I suspect.
Love you more than swimsuits. xxx

I bet all your comments are going to be about Annabel - she is rockin' that leopard top and the leggings!

Oh, and your outfits are nice, too. Love the colors in that first dress, but I think you should add a huge belt in white or pink. I love how you have sandals in almost every color of the rainbow!

That dress really is a beauty and just look at your bonus ball dress! Luck is a lady! As is Leisa.

Love your blue shoes too! Has the weather calmed down over there since those freaky forest fires were causing so much stress? xxxx

Gorgeous dresses! I think everything should have ric rac trimming. :)

Your parasol is great. Reminds me of the paper parasols on ice cream bowls.
Annabel is such a pretty and nice girl. She's a perfect model and will surely follow in your footsteps.

The whole ensemble is a winner. Girl you rock it.The patterns are tdf. A parasol gives you instant za za zu!

Two Frocks of Wonder from lovely Leisa! The print and colours on the first one are stunning, but then there you go, showing us the dotty and the stripey and the ric rac-y beauty of thee second dress - LOVE!

Glad to see Annabel is teaching you a thing or two, Aunty Sarah.

Buy the swimsuit buy the swimsuit buy the swimsuit. Unless someone has already bought it for you...

Mmmmm, I love you like a parasol. I don't know what that means, but it's the opening line of our future No. 1 smash hit single. After our cover of Our Lips Are Sealed gets to No. 2. xxxx

But the red ric rac frock suits you SO well. It looks like it was made for you. I'm SO glad it's found the right home. Thanks for the link too & for all of your support. We all know where Annabel gets her awesomeness from!

Miss Simmonds Says said...

I lurve Buscemi! Both dresses are utterly gorgeous, I can't decide between them! They both look very sexy on you. And you do need that swimsuit too! xxxx

Forest City Fashionista said...

TWO awesome dresses for the price of one!! I think I love the red and white one just a wee bit more because of the dots and rickrack and because it shows off your gorgeous curves. You and Miss Annabel remind me of the scene in "Meet Me in St. Louis" with Judy Garland and Margaret O'Brien singing that song together.

I will pretty much watch anything if Steve Buscemi is in it. Now that you've put the wish for the swimsuit out there into the universe, I'm sure it will make it's way to you for your birthday.
