Your sister can't dance

This lamp was begging to be whorified

An entire packet of hot glue sticks, one burnt finger and a basket of flowers later...

Much more whorable!

Tomorrow's job is to whorify this big blank wall...

I am quite taken with Desiree's Wall of Women

I see you, big blank wall. You don't scare me.

I'm actually on sick leave this week...

...and I spent most of today dozing on The Whore, dreaming of the adventures we'll have together...

It's probably not normal to be this in love with a piece of furniture, is it?

I'm ok with it.

Sarah, I'd spend all my time on the Whore if I had here too - she truly is divine. Love what you did to the lamp and looking forward to seeing your wall creation. Hope this week has been a nice, relaxing one for you and that you're taking care. Xo

Sarah, it is absolutely normal to be in love with inanimate objects and your sofa is most definitely splendifwhorous (sorry, missed out on the whore puns yesterday). Loving the lampshade too and cannot wait to see what you do with that wall. I once totally covered a lampshade with some furry trim but the bloody fur moulted all over the place - it was not a good move. xx

So your wall will be the Whore-l of Fame? (best I could come up with). That lamp is priceless. Happy Looking Hot sick week to you! xx

The lamp is stunning as her owner/creator! There are no words to describe how much I love it and how much I need a new hot glue pistol to whorify my whole house (and life) in a triumph of flowers and glitter!
Desiree's walls are a great inspiration, I love her chatting Madonnas and her hall of female fame!
I'm sure that the result is going to be glorious!

I love you more than Playmates and little lambs!!

Love the end results, the lamp went from red to fabulous!
I hope that you get better soon but in the meantime enjoy your time to be creative.
I think that is perfectly normal to have love for objects because they brings us happiness and we do fell strong connections towards them.

oh my god...you have created THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LAMP EVER. I'm FREAKING OUT FOR IT. How did you come up with that idea? No seriously, you gorgeous idiot, I am SO IMPRESSED.

Did I read your last post and not comment? Perhaps. I love your couch too. So nappable. Also, I think I might have to copy Desiree's wall of women too, because that idea is dope.

I think I'm whoreny for your lamp and couch.

It's normal, it's natural and it's utterly whore-ifying to be so in love with such a fecking whore-ing sofa. Bring on the whore-ification darling - the lamp is The Whore's frilly knickers and the wall will be oh-so-glorious - I see those cushions getting a great pounding!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Ha, the shade looks like one of Helga's hats.

Very neat diy! A brocade shade in red and black with a beaded fringe trim would also look great. If you want a wall of women, go for it. We are suppose to have a wall of pin ups above our bed. They're framed and ready to go. Just gotta get the husband to help.

Oh the Whore of Babedom is looking fabulous - I am referring to the sofa, of course.
But you're not looking too shabby yourself, darling, in that gloriarse leopard Kaftan of Love and your big big hair.
I love the flowery lamp makeover, doesn't it look at home on that gorgeous little cabinet? Just begging to cast a rosy glow over some love action on the red velvet, I think...
Yes yes yes to a Wall of Something - Vix has her Wall of Misery, Desiree has her Women, what will you choose? Where is Sarcastic Slow Hand-clapping Mary these days? A Wall of Portraits would be fabulous, including some of your amazing photographs. But I know whatever you choose, it will look wonderful.
Is it normal to love a sofa? Who cares! An Idiot can love furniture if she wants to! xxxxxx

The best idea I've heard of in the last weeks. Looks sooo gorgeous. I want to see your lamp shining at night when everything around the lamp is dark. I think that must be a magical picture. I hope you'll soon be ok and that you don't suffer too much from your illness. Wish you the best.

I can't wait to see what happens with that wall! My favourite wall in our house is the cluster wall in our kitchen. It has paper mache letters for each of us, crocheted pot holders, a couple of embroideries, a clock and some doves plus the mr & mrs sign my sister got us for our wedding. Cluster walls are so much fun!
