Big wheel keep on turning

Sorry, you guys. I know you come here for the frocks and frippery
but real life is getting in the way at the moment.

A very quick update:

*
*
*
I drove home and picked up my family photos
and have them safely with me in Canberra
I took care of the stalker situation... like a frickin ninja
*
I'm pooped but certainly not complaining.
This family had to keep their five children in the water for three hours to escape the fire, and they lost everything they own. So. Not. Fun.

Hope you're all ok.

Normal ridiculousness will resume as soon as possible.

Happy Birthday Helga - I love you!

And to wish you good luck with that fire thing.

Hey Idiot, it's Labia here.
Frocks and frippery have to take a backseat when a country is having a full-on horrific emergency situation. So relieved to know your love shack is still standing, and that your precious photos are safe (did you take your Mama's wedding dress back to safety too?)
Some people have just had the most terrible time of it. I was very much thinking of that in order to keep our break-n in perspective.

Keep safe, stay ridiculous, sing songs of love and lips. That's all the advice I have.
Oh but I can offer the most massive virtual hug - will that help at all? xxxxxxxxxxx

That photo is just terrifying. I can't begin to imagine what it's like to have fires burning so close. I'm sorry you've had such a rough time of it, but I'm glad you were able to rescue your most treasured possessions. I pray a cool change comes your way & that the coming weeks is way less stressful for you & many others. Xx
