Size matters

I've had insomnia for more than 20 years. Every five years or so I have one unbroken night's sleep and last night was it - seven and a half hours of glorious, beautiful, exquisite, unbroken sleep!

Obviously I had to celebrate with some killer dance moves, my happiest frock and enormous hair...

I wore:
1960s frock - Coco Repose Vintage
Shoes and cardigan - Op shopped
Hair flower - Gift
Bird brooch - Made it myself

Come on, brain, gimme another good night tonight - imagine how big my hair could be after eight hours!

Insomnia is the pits. I hope you get another great night's sleep today!

I love your whole outfit! Bright colours everywhere and big hair = so much fun!

Hmm, well, from a place of love and honesty, I have to say I don't really like bright colour. Or floral patterns. Or dancing. Or hair, however big it is. It isn't really to my taste. I suppose it can look OK on SOME people. Not sure who though...
Who are those people? Is that Barbie? Isn't she a doll? I don't like dolls.
You're an idiot. And a bit twisted. You need more sleep.
Good night. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You are just brilliant, my dear Sarah.

Maybe Floral Week, with its structure, routine and pattern helped. Big hair week now, it's a must!
So happy for you, that you got seven hours of golden kip in the bank. I have some sleep issues, but not as bad as yours. I don't have dresses or hair as good as yours though, so there's the balance.

You really don't need beauty sleep, so don't worry if last night isn't repeated for ages.

I'm in love with psycho/psychedelic pink prints and this frock is one of those that I would immediately buy on etsy if those motherfarkers could reduce their shipping costs to here!
I'd like to dress like you and your stiff Barbie doll friends!Give a big hug to your hair and tell her that I'll skype with her when I'll get a new webcam!
Love you more than twist!!!

My babysitter had a Trim Twist thing. I remember going on it until my waist hurt like it was bruised!

So glad you had a good nights sleep. With a creative mind like yours I can understand why it has a hard time shutting down. Frustrating too I'm sure.

Smashing figure you have my dear!

Quite a post! I like your appearance in the vintage photos. I can remember when my brother came home from a sock hop so excited that he had learned the new dance "the twist". Urk,that dates me! I sympathize with the insomnia having had broken sleep for the last 30 years. Seven and a half hours of sleep is bliss.

How is it that you almost match the doll in the orange heels? You'd take over the world after an 8-hour sleep.

You ARE the big-haired, Fab-in-fuschia dancing queen and I worship your twisting (and photo editing) talents. I also had my first full night's sleep in about a week last night so I know the jubilance of which you speak!!

You are a lot stronger and braver than me when it comes to lack of sleep. I'm glad that you got some well deserved rest. It really makes a world of a difference. You look gorgeous and your hair is magnificent.

See what happens when you get a good night's sleep? You don't just get to nail fabulous hair, a ROCKIN' bod, floral spunkaciousness and birdy brooches. You get FAMOUS that's what. You get album cover deals, teen-mag dance move how-to's, you get to join the 60s Barbie dance-a-thon AND you get famous in New Idea hot-bod ad features!!! I'm jumping with joy that you had a delicious slumber - more please!!! xoxoxoxo

Hahahahahahahahahahhaaahahaha! Just pissing myself over Curtise's comment! I can't better that!
Yesterday was rather special, a brilliantly behaved Skype and a good night's sleep and Jesus up a tree, things are looking up!!
That dress is too happy by far, send it to England and I'll let it live a life of angst and misery.
Love you more than huge hair! xxxxxxx

I LOVE that dress!!! Brightness overload! YOu are really showing up those sindy dolls! I think you should print out all those record covers and put them on your wall!

Boo hiss to insomnia.
5 kids cured me of that. I could sleep standing up most days. Or in the washing basket.

And there's me thinking frugging was something completely different.

I lurve you with giant hair, it looks amazing, do it more. The dress is so gorgeous, if I could fit in it, I'd steal it off you. Lovely to see you so hyper, though like Melanie says, if you had any more sleep, who knows what would happen.

Curtise's comment made me laugh so much!
