One Dress, One Love

I have a new favourite...

This beautiful frock was made just for me
by the super talented and gorgeous
Dee of One Denim Bird

It fits, as you would expect, like a dream
(or a high class prostitute) and is made from a vintage cotton sheet... and what is better than that?
Nothin'.

Pop over and check out Dee's fabric stash - I'll bet you find something you love and be romping around on the beach on your amazing new frock in no time!

Thanks Dee - I love it.

Lovely dress! I'd have never guessed that it had been made from a sheet!

Bloody amazing. A sheet you say? I shall check her out immediately.

I love looking at what you wear because if it suits you - it will suit me.

I am also loving that cardy!

Is Melbourne the only cold place in Australia? I look like the Michelin man when I go the beach.

Beautiful - I love that its made from an old sheet too.

The weather looks stunning there and I love that the ribbon on your sunhat matches perfectly.

Oh that dress is just perfection on you, Sarah! Isn't Dee clever?
The print and colours are so gorgeous, and I don't think it could fit you any better if it tried!
That last photo is a stunner. Where's Burt Lancester when you need him for a roll in the surf?

How come it's summer here and I am wearing boots, and you are in the depths of winter, frolicking on the beach barefoot? 'Snot fair! But I'll forgive you cos I love you! xxxxxxx

I love these photos. I feel like I just took a gorgeous, stylish trip to the beach. I freaking LURV your new dress, and I'm horny for the fact that it was made from a cotton sheet--it's like never having to get up and face the day!!!

See, now THAT is how one looks good in a wide brimmed hat...unlike some karens who shall go nameless.

How is it you can go from psycho Tim Burton to Summer of 42 with such gusto? You look like a dream here. What fantastic classic fabric in your dress. I almost didn't recognize you with your hair out long like that. Lovely!

This is a side of you I haven't really seen before and I like it! You look feminine, pretty, dare I say demure(?) in this dress. And why not? It's the perfect vibe for deep-breathing at the beach. Such a healing scene. Dee is a genius - the dress fits perfectly and the fabric is heavenly.
