How's the serenity?

Honestly, even with my sproingy back,
I'm still so happy that I'm running a great risk
of becoming a smug bastard...

This gate has quickly become my favourite photo location

And check these out... you know how Girls Guides sell cookies to raise money?
Well, here they have Sea Scouts (yeah, I'd never heard of them either) and they sell seed raising kits!
How cool is that. So I'm trying out the tomato and cucumber kits.
I've never actually had any success with seeds before... so I'll keep you posted.

Even in this pretty low key outfit I copped a fair bit of side eye in the supermarket today...

I just smiled serenely and bought some mangoes and nashi pears...
'cause I'm sereeene, motherfuckers...

And I even put on shoes!

I love this fab old bag... I think it was made from curtain scraps

And I adore this amazing jangly watch, which was a gift from beautiful Christina

I wore:
Maxi - Retail (maybe ten years ago)
Cardigan, 1970s sunnies, bangles and vintage bag - Op shopped
Hair flower - Retail
Watch - Gift

That gate is my husband! And you are my wife in that get-up, all psychedelic and footloose and pinky-turquoise! But are your sunnies and your hair flower large enough? Oh and i predict that if people are staring in the supermarket now, they will be frozen in astonishment after repeated doses of your fabulosity.

Oh my you are hilarious! You must be the most fashionable lady in town now! I'm a bit in love with your gate too. I love how it's overgrown. Sea scouts sound healthier then girl scouts they encourage you to grow veggies instead of eating cookies.

look at your inspiring new photo shoot location! And, if you're in Australia, it can be lovely and green all the time, no? Not like here, where it's either white or brown in Winter. Bleh.

Loving the outfit! I probably would have looked at you too but that is just because I would have been plotting how I could steal that fabulous dress from you. What a cool idea with the seed kits. Can't wait to see how they go!

You're entitled to be a smug bastard! I'm so glad that you're so happy! Your outfit is supremely gorgeous. I've been copping a bit of side-eye myself up in Clermont, I assume it means I'm doing things right (you certainly are!).

Mmmm...low key is not how that outfit can be described. So much fabulousness, no wonder the locals were given a (clearly much needed) shake up. And you are right about the bag, it was 70s curtains, my mother and my aunts all had it in their kitchens. Then I think they made it into cushions & potholders when they could no longer bear the orange and brown in the mornings......
