I quit my job today...

I did that once also because of: Weird ass Managers who were a little too touchy feely. And over the top frazzled basket case supervisors who just being around could shoot anyones nerves in minutes!
And when I quit.. they asked me go into a room to talk about it. Offered me a cookie and locked the door. (OKAY I AM NOT JOKING) To which I stood up said I am leaving and took the hell off!

Well done! I quit my first full time job after uni after only 7 months because of the exact same reason. At the time it was hard and I was off work for 3 months but it is the best thing I ever did. Now I have a job I love!
Did ya march in there in your red frock to deliver the news? Good on ya - like you say, life's too short... are you out of there immediately or do you have to do boring stuff like work your notice? I rang my boss one monday morning - after months of ranty, pissed swearing (from him, not me) and told him there were more polite people I could work for. End of. Something better turned up 3 days later! xx
