The Fash N Treasure market
Yesterday it was a lovely Autumn day (you can tell it's Autumn because girls are starting to rock their tights and boots). I have not had enough sleep (for ever!) and I had a filthy rotten stinker of a headache, so there are no outift pics of me.
However, headache or no, I always have my camera handy to snap treasures like these...
Brother Misfit and the Little Love popped in in the morning to say hello and help me set up
(and bring the things that I had forgotten, such as the float - thanks you guys!).
(and bring the things that I had forgotten, such as the float - thanks you guys!).
Little Love immediately helped herself to a hat and tie from stock.
Ten minutes later this gorgeous woman bought the hat!
The delightful Darling Sisters and I had adjoining stalls.
Look at the consternation as they browse this catalog:
"So many fabulous frocks - how will we ever choose???"
"So many fabulous frocks - how will we ever choose???"
The always beautiful Sam popped in to say hello...
...and came back a little while later to show me these AMAZING vintage gloves she'd found.
The gorgegous gal bought these awesome 80s overalls, despite her boring friends telling her not to.
Yay for you gorgeous curly, colour-loving ranga - you looked fabulous!
The gorgeous Rebecca looked fab in this owl print frock.
The beautiful young Sarah in the 1980s hat she bought from me at Gorman House markets.
This stunning woman was totally rocking this frock.
I loved this fab jumble of rockin' wrist accessories.
This gorgeous fashionista in the making is the delightful Phoenix.
Sweetie, if you are not already following Tavi at The Style Rookie please do right this very minute.
This is Tavi - she is precocious, fabulous, adorable and very VERY clever:
Anyway, so back to Fash N Treasure...
Sophie looked super hot and was sporting some of the coming season's must have accessories...
I loved her icon bracelet and insane feather ring
I LOVED this gorgeous vintage fabric with ships all over!
This is Keri in her delightful 1960s polyester kaftan...
POW! Look how cool it is! Keri - let me know when you want to sell it!
The delightful Ashabella has some serious ink and the prettiest eyes...
This is the fabulous Nurie - go check out her blog What Nurie Wore Today - she's super cute!
Too big...
Too big...
This gorgeous shy little bunny is Feona. I loved the subtle details of her outfit:
the textured tights, the bell sleeved jacket, the delicate floral print of her frock...
Plus she had bosom bunnies!
The always smokin' hot Bridget with her little treasure Imogen.
Georgina was so gorgeous in her vintage fluoro blouse - I LOVE seeing the youngies in vintage
- the young people - the youth - kiddies - littlies - the youngsters -
bloody hell, I don't know what to call them without sounding like my Granny!
I'm pretty sure I did this EXACT look in 1985. This is the gorgeous Gemma.
The beautiful Mel in her 70s style yellow floral frock - I LOVE this dress!
This young gorgeous was wearing some kind of heavy wool national costume, 1960s silver shoes and a bizarre hat - FABULOUS!
Kath looked just beautiful in this delicate lace dress
Erin was rockin the pink hair and some eye killer makeup
It's only a couple of small steps from these...
to these!
I loved these but they were way too small for me... aren't they fab and pop arty!
And so the day was done.
I packed up, went home and went to bed - where I stayed for the next 21 hours!
How was your weekend?

Sarah, there most be something in the Australian water: you are all so freaking good looking with cool individualistic styles!
By the way, your pictures are just perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I swear that if you and those ladies are anything to go by all Aussie women must be the most beautiful females on the planet! Wow, what a lot to gaze at!
Love the insane kaftan, the glitter platforms and that red wool dress. xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I have to tell you, every morning when I'm sitting with my coffee trying to wake up, I HOPE you have a post up so I can sit and admire all the outfits. It's like a pleasureous start to the day. :) Also, I still have my oxblood DMs. They're probably 15 years old now and I don't wear them much anymore but I can't bear to part with them.
Is it wrong that I just LOVE Feona's hair? I would love to go cut mine right off and get that. I never seem to suit short hair though in my opinion. I love it though!
I'm so pleased that Canberra is not utterly berefet of funky peeps!!! What a fun day! One of these days I simply must make one of these!!
XXXXXXXXlove!
Holly poszole! what bunch of fashionably bellas.
starting with your little cute dolly of a niece.

Bridget's red spotty outfit was my fave and pink niece glitter shoes. I have a load of icon Santo Mexican bracelets.
That kaftan photo is brilliant!!!
Everyone is so gorgeous! Also, I would fight you for that kaftan. It is amazing!
P.S. Go right ahead and use the grown-up advice idea. I'm sure you have some wonderful wisdom to share with us, and I can't wait to read it.
Jeez, didnt relise that my hair was quite so big lol. I checked out that zonta thing, wouldnt really call it a vintage sale (although they did have cake. Always a plus), but i did get a cool reversable cloak cape thing for $15. I will one day actually do another post on my blog, and it may feature, probably in 3 years time.
It was awesome to see so many rockin chicks with fab styles all in the one place. Go Canbo!!
Dear Sarah, fabulous pictures. How have I missed so many of your posts??
I'm loving the oversized bows xx
Thanks for taking my photo and for telling me about Tavi's blog.
I have started putting in my blog the clothes I like to wear, and yes I do like bows!
